The Hanok Heritage House: The Power of Wood, Featured in Vogue Korea
Vogue Korea highlights The Hanok Heritage House for its dedication to wood craftsmanship. Timber, carefully selected from Washington State, undergoes a seven-year microwave drying process followed by 2–3 years of acclimation in Yeongwol. This ensures exceptional durability and soundproofing, with CEO Cho Jung-il noting, “Perfectly dried wood creates a quiet home.”
Built over 8 years by 18 master carpenters, the estate currently features Yeongwol Jongtaek 1 & 2 and Seondoljung, with 10 additional buildings planned by 2027. Combining luxury with tradition, it offers facilities like indoor/outdoor pools, a spa, and an art gallery, all designed to harmonize with nature’s beauty.
